Multiple & serial murders

Ted Bundy abducted and murdered young women across several states during the 1970s, sometimes pretending to need help to approach them. After escaping custody, he attacked women in Florida. His trials, survivors’ accounts, and the investigation became the subjects of books and screen adaptations.

Bundy approached Carol DaRonch here while impersonating a police officer in November 1974. She later escaped his attack.

The remains of Janice Ott and Denise Naslund were recovered near Issaquah in 1974. The landscape described in the historical investigation has since been redeveloped.

The historical setting has changed. No public access to private land or buildings has been verified.

Karen Sparks survived an attack here in January 1974. The original home was demolished and replaced by apartments.

The original structure no longer exists. Present-day land or replacement buildings are not open attractions; no visitor access was verified.
