Report a factual error

Identify the exact page URL, the statement in question, the proposed correction, and a supporting court record or reliable source. Explain whether a later ruling, acquittal, exoneration, identification, or other development changes the account. Significant corrections should be reflected in the record with a correction note where appropriate.

Privacy and location concerns

Identify the page, image, address, or other item and explain the concern and requested remedy. You do not need to send your current home address to report a location problem. Send only the minimum necessary information. Do not send identity documents or confidential legal material without first arranging a suitable secure method. See privacy rights and appeals. This contact is not an emergency service.

Copyright and image-rights notices

Identify the copyrighted work or image, the rights holder, each specific site URL containing the disputed material, your relationship to the rights holder, contact information for a response, and the action you request. Include the relevant license or ownership information if available.

For a formal U.S. copyright takedown notice where the statutory procedure applies, include the required physical or electronic signature, identification of the work and disputed material, reasonably sufficient contact information, a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law, and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner. The U.S. Copyright Office explains Section 512, including notices, counter-notices, and the conditions for service-provider protections.

This page does not claim that the operator has registered a DMCA agent or qualifies for a statutory safe harbor. Applicable formal procedures and deadlines must be assessed for the particular request. Only submit a claim you reasonably believe is accurate.

How requests are handled

The operator will assess the identified material and may seek clarification, correct it, remove it, or restrict access while reviewing the concern. Accurate, lawful reporting is not automatically removed on request. External websites control their own copies and archives. Relevant notice information may need to be shared with a contributor, adviser, hosting provider, or authority to investigate or meet legal requirements; unnecessary personal information should be withheld. Contacting the site does not create an attorney-client relationship.
